UNITY - Conducted the first General Assembly in structuring the Siargao Unites Farmers Federation. The activity is to officially establish a branch project of Hardin ng Pagbabago Pilipinas.
Women leaders are now the rising stars of Siargao. Ms. Analyn Dulpina, a multi-awarded woman-leader and one of the pioneers of organic agriculture in Siargao Island, is elected to stand as the President of the Federation. She heads several agriculture initiatives that promotes sustainable practice of farming. She is also the president of Bayatakan Farmers Association.
